Temple of Passing

Discovered by the Veragassi Asteroid Belt Pirates during a ship raid, the pirates quickly moved in and began looting the temple, set in the midst of a great desert, and started selling some of the artifacts they had found on the Black Market. The Pontifex immediately lunged at the opportunity, agreeing to pay the pirate’s ludicrous price to buy the site’s location. But, when the pirates attempted to raise the price, the Pontifex murdered the Captain, departing in rage. Unbeknownst to him, the Hunter’s of the Noble Rose had recovered the dig site location.

Within the Temple were statues built to two female figures, apparently garbed as Jedi, and symbolism that repeatedly referenced a Sun, a Moon, and Stars. The meaning behind these symbols is as yet unknown. Deeper within the temple, the group had a fleeting glance at two other statues, one a large armored man, the other, a nightmarish creature would possessed shocking similarities to the Thing the Hunters had fought aboard the Pirate’s base.

The Temple had come under the assault of two other mysterious figures as well, the odd Seer and the enraged Augur, both of whom appear to be followers of the Noctis in some way, the same as the Pontifex. The Hunters of the Noble Rose made a deal with the Seer, fighting off the Augur, and in the end, handed over the strange artifact known as the Star of the Noctis to him.
